A nicely designed and cool app for keeping track of grades designed for students and educators alike #Grading Notebook #Grade Tracker #Education App #Grading #Grade #Education
There are numerous benefits associated with using a digital grade book/grade tracker apps. For instance, by using an app, you can grade faster (reduce grading time by automating various aspects of the process), as well as improve your grading scope and accuracy.
Gradebook is one such application, a digital grade tracker designed for both students and educators, and it's one of those apps that should feel right at home on education-focused Linux distributions (such as Edubuntu).
At its core, Gradebook is a very simple and easy-to-use application. It's designed to be as streamlined as possible and one of the main benefits it provides is the fact that it supports a wide range of grading systems.
This means that the app can be used almost anywhere in the world, since it supports numerical grading systems, as well as percentage-based grading systems.
The app comes with support for an unlimited number of Subjects, Categories, and Grading entries. When adding a grade, you're also provided with the option of adding notes, which should come in handy for feedback purposes.
The main appeal of Gradebook is that it's a very stylish, modern, and very easy-to-use app that can be used by pretty much everyone. However, its simplicity can (depending on what you teach, and the form and function of your lessons) also work to its detriment.
What do we mean by that? There's no getting around the fact that Gradebook has a very old-school approach to the whole grading process. For instance, the app doesn't provide you with the option of automatically sending grades or feedback (either via email, or other mediums).
Another downside is that it doesn't provide teachers/students with an option to scan test results, and it doesn't integrate with any digital portfolio services/platforms (such as Google Classroom).
Gradebook is a gorgeous and quite functional little grade tracker that should come in handy to some teachers, educators, or even students.
It's a super simple app without all the bells and whistles of most modern grade trackers (mostly mobile grade tracking apps that are clearly more advanced) and that's exactly what makes it extremely approachable and dependable.
