A new stable Dropbox version has been released and the 2.2x branch has received a continuous stream of improvements in the past few weeks.
According to the developers, the previous stable arrived with a small number of low-level performance upgrades, but this is not enough and the help of the community is needed.
Dropbox 2.2.13 only implements a fix for an unnecessary indexing problem introduced a while back. Even if this is a new stable version, it's not ready to return to the main website yet, and users are still getting the 2.0.x branch.
