  • Even if you use it on a daily basis, you won’t experience any side effects. In the future, we plan to continue updating the Web Panel with various functions, and in the future we are making adjustments so that it can use new features that are at the cutting edge of the web.
  • Now, Users can now see the hash these are generated when building Floorp.

  • Floorp Expands CPU Support and Delivers Speed Boost on Windows 32-bit
  • Good news for Windows 32-bit users! Floorp no longer requires a CPU that supports SSE4.1 instructions for installation. This means wider compatibility, with support for all CPUs that can run Firefox.
  • If you're having trouble launching the 64-bit version of Floorp, try the 32-bit version instead. It might solve the issue!
  • BUG FIXES:
  • Workspace button issue: We fixed the proliferation of workspace buttons when opening new windows.
  • Content scripting: Previously, with content scripting enabled, links opened within the web panel when added by third-party apps like Discord. This has been addressed.

  • The site will be installed as an app & Floorp will open the PWA window.
  • Installed site can be searched on Windows search feature.
  • Uninstall & Open PWA window, both are easy. Open menu panel & You can manage them on there.

  • For develop 3 years, We build a unique browser that called Floorp. But, In these days, Floorp is so big. Some of the users don’t like this.
  • For this reason, We build a new browser. It named “Floorp Lightning”.
  • The browser has included some specific features same as Floorp Browser. However, most of Floorp’s features are removed.
  • It’s so fast. No bug. No telemetry & Easy to use.
  • ABOUT TRANSLATION:
  • Currently, Oversea users are improving! The Floorp’s user share is splinted with Japanese user with other country users.
  • We learn about localization (L10n) at webDINO Japan (ex:Mozilla Japan) the community event. After that, We want to set up a server that name is “Pontoon”. “Pontoon” is a localization platform built by Mozilla. But, we got some issue. Instead of this, Our localization is hosted on Crowdin.

  • You can toggle current tab to private or no container from Tab context menu. More, Add link context menu to open with private container.
  • Workspace Container added! You can manage workspace to use container!
  • On, Workspace manager, You can choose container for workspace. On a workspace, If you select “Personal” workspace container, the opening tab will be open with “Personal” Container.

  • So, one Polish user, u/gEdd243, appreciated Floorp's experience and redesigned it.
  • As a developer, we are considering introducing a logo that represents the overall branding. How is it?

  • Enhance the keyboard operation of Floorp! Added a custom shortcut key(CSK) function that allows you to change the key freely!
  • Added custom shortcut key functionality, a long requested feature request.
  • Not all keys are available due to cross-platform compatibility, but for the first time in a Firefox family of browsers, you can perform over 80 commands without a mouse that are definitely not available in web extensions.
  • We plan to add more actions in the future.

  • The day has finally arrived!
  • After more than a year of building the browser in Japan. I continued to research how I could create a browser that would be used around the world.
  • As a result, I have met with the WebDINO Japan (formerly Mozilla Japan) community and gained a lot of information. This is all thanks to our users and contributors.
  • Since then, Floorp have been compared to various web browsers on Reddit, Twitter & blog, and we feel that we are starting to get some recognition and results. Currently, our goal is to support Firefox, and we are building a browser to fill in the gaps where Firefox does not exist.

  • WHAT'S NEW:
  • Workspaces An excellent feature to manage tabs! Workspace provides "Tab groups" function. Tabs displayed in Floorp can be divided into groups, separating hidden tabs from those to be displayed.
  • You can delete tabs from workspace & move tabs to other workspaces. It is also compatible with vertical tabs. This feature will be improved in the future. Give us feedback!
  • Native Vertical Tab:
  • "TreeStyleTab" delete in Floorp 11. Instead of this, Floorp 11 includes native vertical tab. This allows functions that were only available on horizontal tabs to be used on vertical tabs. In addition, Workspaces functionality can be substituted for "Tree".
  • Floorp Notes:
  • Floorp Notes is a feature that allows you to take notes wheb you browse the Web. Floorp Notes has Sync feature. You can sync your notes with your Firefox Account.
  • Don't worry about missing your notes. Floorp has backup feature for Floorp Notes. You can restore your notes in "about:preferences#notes" page.
  • Browser Manager Sidebar can add Add-on Panel:
  • Floorp 11 has new feature for Browser Manager Sidebar. You can add Add-on Panel in Browser Manager Sidebar. Some Add-ons not supported this. ex) side-view...
  • Privacy Hub has been come back:
  • On "about:preferences#privacy", You can modify your privacy settings about Resist Fingerpint and Web RTC. If you don't install privacy add-ons, Floorp will show Add-ons recommendation.
  • "Share mode" is added:
  • On Reddit & Twitter no less people share their browser screenshot. Floorp 11 has "Share mode" feature. You can hide personal information like "Bookmarks", "History" & "open tabs". You can enable in menubar.
  • CHANGED:
  • Floorp 11 is based on Firefox ESR 115. This means Floorp 11 can use Firefox 115's features. But, some there are some differences between Floorp 11 & Firefox 115.
  • Firefox 115 removes "OSFile.jsm". Floorp 11 still has this.
  • Firefox 116's feature "Picture-in-Picture's volume control" is available on Floorp 11.
  • Floorp 11 doesn't support Windows 7, 8 & 8.1. Floorp 11 supports Windows 10 or later.
  • Mac verison of Floorp has new logo! Thanks to @cutterknife.
  • on Mac, Floorp supports auto-update feature. You can update Floorp without downloading new installer.
  • Mac version build uses cross compile on Linux.
