Keep track of your CS:GO matches and get a series of useful ego-boosting stats with the help of this nifty little Electron-based app for Linux and Windows. #Counter-Strike Stats #Counter-Strike Tracker #CS:GO App #CS:GO #Counter-Strike #Tracker
There's nothing wrong with being a casual gamer and not caring much about statistics.
Be that as it may, the gaming community at large seems to have come to a sort of understanding over the last decade or two: stats are important, which is also why more and more games oftentimes have some sort of stat display system by default.
csgo-tracker is a simple, free, open-source, Electron-based application that provides detailed statistics regarding one's Counter-Strike:Global Offensive performance. Its goal? Just like other apps, csgo-tracker aims to help you improve your game sessions.
To deliver the stats, it uses Valve's game state integration.
csgo-tracker has two, self-explanatory sections: Matches and Stats. The Matches tab is the place where you can access your match history. As expected, the Stats tab is a lot more comprehensive and exciting even.
It provides a detailed review of your games by displaying things like KDR, headshot accuracy (%), the average number of kills per match, the maximum number of kills in a match, and many many others.
One of the main advantages of csgo-tracker is that it doesn't require any pre or post-game configuration. To track a match, simply run csgo-tracker BEFORE starting the match, and that's that. It's also important to note that you should not close the app before the match ends (hence, the match stats will be incomplete).
csgo-tracker is a very young project, hence, you shouldn't expect the same level of polish and features as other Overwolf apps, for example.
Nevertheless, the app boasts a nice black-themed GUI with really nice graphics, and as mentioned before, enough statistics to help you thoroughly analyze your gameplay.
The upside is that csgo-tracker doesn't feature any ads, it doesn't require any sort of login/account, and everything is stored locally.
csgo-tracker may not be the best stat app for CS:GO out there. Even so, it's a really nice alternative to other similar apps, and at least you know that your data is your own and you don't have to deal with annoying ads.
