The app also provides you with a quick way to add text, either from your computer's clipboard, or by simply loading a text file. The Preferences section allows you to customize the color of the text, as well as the colors for bold and highlighted sections of said text. The app also provides you with various options when it comes to the type of font used.

As far as installing Teleprompter goes, you can either build it from source (by cloning the repo and using the GNOME Builder tool) or, even easier, directly from Flathub.
