Lonewolf For Linux

Lonewolf is, by most accounts, a typical offline task manager application. It's not the best-looking or the most feature-packed app of this sort out there, and it's definitely not the only app of this sort that employs the basic principles of Kanban.

Despite this, I found it remarkably satisfying to use. I asked myself why, and the short answer is that I love its clean GUI. The long answer is that despite me loving the no-nonsense GUI, the app has enough cool features to make it worth your while.

Since Lonewolf is all about flexibility and productivity enhancement, the Kanban-style workflow is perfect here. The app allows you to create multiple lists (to organize your tasks), and create individual cards for your tasks, organize them even better with the help of labels, set due dates for said tasks, and even add attachments.

The app also provides you with the option of adding written descriptions of your tasks (with full markdown support), as well as adding comments to said tasks. More complex tasks can even be split up with the help of checklists.

I also enjoyed the fact that this app has a decent Settings section. You're provided with a few options when it comes to changing the app's appearance and behavior.

As mentioned at the start of the review, Lonewolf is not the most feature-packed app of this sort. However, if your task organization requirements don't include extensive projects, it should work perfectly for both home and office.

As mentioned before, I really enjoyed the app's simple GUI which makes the whole Kanban style look really professional. I found it a lot less distracting and easier to use than most conventional task organizers who usually have toolbars, sidebars, or even typical menu bars.
