IPlan For Linux

IPlan is one such application, a task planner application that aims to help you better organize simple tasks. In short, IPlan is a simple task organizer that looks right at home on modern Linux distributions.

The app's GUI is definitely one of the best aspects as it allows you to resize it to perfectly fit your goals and the number of tasks you're dealing with. Not only this but all the apps and projects can be effortlessly rearranged using intuitive drag-and-drop actions.

By default, the app starts in its most compact mode (it only displays tasks). If you're dealing with more tasks and you also want to properly organize them for better clarity, then you can resize the GUI, and the Projects section is always on display.

Speaking of the Projects section, that's also a good feature of the app - the ability to group tasks via lists and projects. Another great thing about IPlan is the task timer.

It's a simple timer feature that allows you to, well, time how much you spend on certain tasks. IPlan also comes with a global search (quite handy when you're dealing with a lot of tasks).

The whole point of IPlan is to be as simple, as efficient, and as user-friendly as possible. This, of course, makes it perfect for the day-to-day Linux user who doesn't require advanced collaboration or enterprise-grade features. Simply add tasks, time yourself in order to see how much time you spend on each one, mark them as done (or archive the whole project when you're done), and that's pretty much it.

As mentioned before, it's also a decently good-looking app, so it will fit right at home on most modern Linux desktops.
