Done For Linux

Done is one of many good To-do/task manager apps for Linux that allow you to stay on top of your daily work by enhancing productivity and organization.

Before we talk about features, there's one aspect of Done that we need to talk about, and that is its GUI. The application is build using Libadwaita and follows the GNOME HIG, meaning it looks and feels like modern app should.

The GUI is quite configurable (not including the fact that has two GUI themes, Light and Dark). For instance, from the Preferences menu, you can opt for a more compact view (shrinks tasks to make viewing more of them easier), as well as opt to either extend of close the sidebar.

Just like most apps of this sort, Done allows you to create tasks and group them into lists (lists can be managed from the aforementioned sidebar).

Done also provides you with a few extra options such as the ability to group tasks based on their importance, organize them using tags, and add them to favorites. You can also add notes, due dates, and even schedule reminders for each individual task, which is great, especially when dealing with a high number of entries.

A great little feature is the ability to add sub-tasks, which should come in handy when dealing with more complex tasks.

Done is a nice and user-friendly task manager. The GUI is the star of the show. It not only looks rather modern, but also provides some configuration options. In terms of features, Done delivers enough features for day-to-day users. Could the app be better? Of course, as that's always the case with small projects such as these, but this is a good starting point.
