Using the new Avira Command Line Scanner ScanCL, you can scan your system from the command prompt. The ScanCL works with the latest Avira detection engine.
With Avira Command Line Scanner ScanCL, you can set the area you want to scan, such as hard disks drives, archives, network drives, mailboxes, recursion level, detect extended threats, such as games, dialers, backdoors, take action on concerning files, such as repair, move, delete, and set a quarantine folder.
Users will also be able to specify a certain extension to be added to the infected files, view statistics at the end of the scanning process, customize the log and view or save it to a desired location, and apply your own configuration file to the scanning process.
Avira Command Line Scanner ScanCL is a platform-independent application that supports both Microsoft Windows and Linux/UNIX operating systems.
