GoAutoDial Community Edition For Linux

GoAutoDial Community Edition (formerly VicidialNOW) is a community-derived project designed as a call center system. It is a server-oriented distribution of Linux based off of CentOS, which in turn is based on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system.

The call center solution installed by the GoAutoDial CE project will handle inbound, outbound and blended calls, it is fully compliant with UK, USA and Canada call systems, supports survey and broadcast dialing, as well as Digium and Sangoma cards.

It features full call recording functionality, it is scalable to hundreds of seats, provides standard Telco lines and VoIP trunks, web-based applications and wizard-based configurations.

In order to transform a 32-bit or 64-bit computer into a reliable and open source call center system, you will have to download one of the installable-only ISO images with the latest version of GoAutoDial Community Edition. Be aware though, that you must register for a free account in order to download the project.

Burn the ISO image that corresponds with your computer’s architecture onto a CD disc using any CD/DVD burning software or write it on a USB thumb drive of 1GB or higher capacity using UNetbootin or GNOME Disk Utility (Disks). Then, you boot the CD or USB bootable medium from the BIOS of a computer.

From the boot menu, you can simply press the Enter key on your keyboard to start the installation process. You can type the “expert” command at the boot prompt and press Enter to access advanced installation options.

The CentOS-based graphical installer will require you to only enter a password for the root (system administrator) account. It will automatically install the Vicidial, Asterisk, MySQ, LimeSurvey, PHP, GOadmin, GOagent and GOreports open source software.
