Plarpebu For Linux

Plarpebu is a java karaoke player that works on any architecture that can run java. It can play mp3, ogg, midi, kar, mp3+cdg files. Plaperbu is the only free karaoke player that supports the two most popular karaoke formats (.kar and mp3+cdg).

You need the ant tool from jakarta in order to compile/run plarpebu from the source distrib + a jdk 1.5 or superior.

You need to have JAVA_HOME and ANT_HOME set to the install dir o these tools. You need to have the "ant" command in your PATH (ant install dir/bin need to be added to the PATH environment variable).

Type "ant run" to run, "ant clean", "ant compile", etc... look at the build.xml file for all possible targets.

For example, just after you donwloaded and unzipped this archive : ant "run" should do all the job of compiling the plugins, the main program, build the jars, etc... and run plarpebu.
