Mixer is a software that allows one to change master and auxiliary volumes (cd, fm, dsp, line, etc.) of a sound card.
Separate adjustment of left and right channels is supported. Version 2.0 introduces support for use in scripts: example : mixer `mixer -state -all` resets all sound levels to current settings (tautology).
