Bitnami AbanteCart Module For Linux

Bitnami AbanteCart Module is a multiplatform and freely distributed software project, an installer that helps users of the Bitnami LAMP, WAMP and MAMP stacks to install the AbanteCart shopping cart solution on their personal computers, without having to install its runtime dependencies.

AbanteCart is a platform-independent, free and open source web-based shopping cart system or e-commerce solution that enables anyone to create powerful websites for selling products online.

Highlights include SEO-friendly URLs, support for both tangible and digital products, product reviews, product ratings, flexible layouts, support for multiple languages and currencies, support for various payment gateways, as well as support for mobile devices.

Bitnami AbanteCart Module is distributed as native installers for the GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems, designed with the BitRock InstallBuilder tool for the 32-bit and 64-bit (recommended) hardware platforms.

To install AbanteCart on top of your Bitnami LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP), MAMP (Mac, Apache, MySQL and PHP) or WAMP (Windows, Apache, MySQL and PHP) stacks, download the package that corresponds to your PC’s hardware architecture, run it and follow the on-screen instructions.

In addition to installing the AbanteCart application on personal computers, you can host it on the Amazon EC2 and Windows Azure cloud hosting services, using Bitnmai’s pre-build cloud images, as well as to virtualize it on top of the Oracle VirtualBox and VMware ESX/ESXi virtualization software with the Ubuntu-based virtual appliance distributed on the project’s website.
