Ubuntu 22.04 LTS - Jammy Jellyfish has recently been released and it uses GNOME 42 as its default desktop environment.

Before anything, it's important to note that the default GNOME 42 comes with a standardized dark mode implementation. In short, all modern GNOME apps respect this standard, and it's really nice. When both dark and light modes are active, all apps and the dynamic wallpapers change accordingly.

Dynamic Wallpaper is not what one might call an impressive app, even though it does its job in a stellar fashion. The GUI, while modern, is pretty plain.

Creating your own dynamic wallpaper is now as easy as finding a pair of complementary images, loading them into the app, entering a name for your dynamic wallpaper, and that's about it: you now have a custom dynamic wallpaper that's ready to use directly from the Appearance panel.

To conclude, Dynamic Wallpaper is not a dynamic wallpaper creator in the true sense of the word, but rather it provides a straightforward way for you to create wallpaper pairs that automatically change when you toggle between the Light/Dark modes.
