By and large, people seem to love GNOME 43's revised Quick Settings menu, and we couldn't agree more - it's a big improvement over the old one.

As its name suggests, Quick Settings Tweaker allows you to fully customize your experience with the new Quick Settings menu of GNOME 43. This includes adding new features, and new toggles, changing their position, and the way they behave, and even removing various default features or buttons.

Some of the best features include the ability to add a volume mixer (allows you to adjust the volume on a per-app basis), add media controls (makes it a lot easier to control your music and audio settings), and add a notifications panel at the bottom of the Quick Settings menu (arguably, it can make the whole experience with GNOME 43 a bit more consistent).

The way you customize your GNOME Quick Settings menu is by accessing the extension's Settings section. You get the following tabs: Volume Mixer, Input/Output, Notifications, Media Controls, Quick Toggles, and Other.

What's really awesome about this extension is the level of customization it offers. For example, you can add a new volume mixer, select its position on the menu, as well as choose to either show or hide icons, and descriptions.

In the Quick Toggles section, you can turn off the DND Quick Toggle, as well as remove various buttons. The Other section is reserved for other, a bit more advanced settings. For instance, you can opt to "fix weather widget overflow," "remove notifications on date menu," "remove media controls on date menu," and a few other options.
