The development team behind the open-source, free, and cross-platform Warzone 2100 RTS (Real-time strategy) game was happy to announce the release and immediate availability for download of the 3.1.4 update.

Warzone 2100 3.1.4 is the fourth maintenance release in the stable 3.1 series of the game, and it promises to patch some of the issues and bugs that have slipped by the previous build, version 3.1.3, announced more than two months ago.

Among the bugs fixed in the Warzone 2100 3.1.4 update, we can mention improvements to the loading of games with alliances and teams, which should now work as expected again, as well as better support for starting games in alliance mode.

Moreover, the order of 'go to transport' has been fixed and players should be able to use it again after they install the 3.1.4 update, and there were various improvements around error messages and template checks too.

"This release fixes a few issues that slipped by the last release," reads the announcement published on April 5, 2016. "For any last minute changes, please look at our forums. Note, if your anti-virus software detects a virus, this is a false positive. "

Warzone 2100 3.1.4 is now available for download for GNU/Linux and BSD operating systems via our website, as well as for the Windows platform from the project's website, so make sure you update from version 3.1.3 as soon as possible.
