rekonq, a web browser for KDE based on WebKit that features a minimal look and has a lightweight approach, has reached version 2.2.

After releasing a few development versions, the final 2.2 version of rekonq has been made available by its developers.

Highlights of rekonq 2.2:

• Various adblock improvements have been implemented; • nepomuk2 support has been added; • The bookmarks menu was restored and follows the style of the 2.x branch; • The closed tabs page has been reinstated; • The KGet support has been drastically improved; • Some new minor options have been implemented; • The usual web inspector position has been set at the bottom;
