phpMyFAQ, a scalable open source FAQ software using PHP and available for many databases, is now at version 2.8.5.

phpMyFAQ 2.8.5 supports various database systems (PostgreSQL, SQLite, MariaDB, MS SQL Server, and MySQL), comes with a comprehensive content management system, has user and group-based permissions, users get access to the LDAP and HTTP authentication with Single Sign-On support, and more.

This is more of a maintenance release and, according to the changelog, the SSO logins with mod_auth_kerb have been fixed, the HTTPS handling has been improved, and the Dutch and European Portuguese translations have been updated.

Also, some minor bugs have been corrected, along with a possible arbitrary PHP code execution. A complete backlog of changes, fixes, and new features can be found on the official website. Download phpMyFAQ 2.8.5 right now from Softpedia.
