The latest version of phpMyAdmin can be downloaded from Softpedia

phpMyAdmin, the popular tool written in PHP intended to handle the administration of MySQL databases, has just reached version 4.1.0 RC2.

The second Release Candidate for phpMyAdmin 4.1.0 has been launched and is ready for testing. The developers have implemented quite a few changes and improvements.

Highlights of phpMyAdmin 4.1.0 RC2:

• Specifying a port when connecting to the controlhost is now allowed; • Various interface improvements have been implemented to server privileges, view creation, the Operations tab, Relation View, and when creating new users; • Support has been added for AES_ENCRYPT on BLOB columns; • Support has been added for relations with ndbcluser; • Optional ReCAPTCHA support during login is now available.

Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
