Lucius II, a third-person action game developed and published on Steam for Linux by Shiver Games, will be released for Linux users, according to an entry in the Steam database.

There was no indication that a Linux version had been in the works for Lucius, but Linux gamers are not all that picky with the games they get, even if the reception of the Windows iteration hasn't been stellar. In fact, the Windows version was made available back in February and a single patch has been issued since then.

"The story of Lucius II continues where the original left off: Lucius emerges as the lone survivor of the burning wreckage his parents once called home, unscathed from the ruthless slaughter he had unleashed. He had taken the weak and punished the wicked. He had looked through their souls and found the true selves they had been hiding," the Steam synopsis reads.

The information about the Linux version is taken from the Steam database, and by no means is it completely certain. The Steam Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service. There is no launch date for Linux, but it usually doesn't take a long time after the game has been spotted in the Linux database.

Enjoy!
