Her Story is a new game developed by Sam Barlow, the creator of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and Aisle. A Steam for Linux version is also available for purchase.

This is not your average game and players will definitely be surprised by the gameplay. All you have to do is watch police footage of an interrogation and make various choices. This is non-linear storytelling at its best and real innovation.

"Her Story is the new video game from Sam Barlow, creator of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and Aisle. A crime fiction game with non-linear storytelling, Her Story revolves around a police database full of live action video footage. It stars Viva Seifert, actress and one half of the band Joe Gideon and the Shark," reads the Steam synopsis.

The gaming community on Steam is already praising the game and the story it tells, especially since it's done in a very interesting way. The game was released on all supported platforms, including SteamOS.

As you can imagine, the system requirements for the game are pretty small, but they are not listed for some unknown reason. If you have any kind of modern Linux OS, 2GB of RAM, and 2GB of HDD space, you should be able to play it.

Her Story also comes with a 15% price cut that will end on July 1.

Update: As it turns out, Her Story doesn't have Linux support just. We've been fooled by the Steamplay logo that show up on the website.
