ffDiaporama 2.1, an application that can be used to create video sequences consisting of titles, videos, images or photos, movie clips, and music, has finally arrived.
ffDiaporama had a lot of development versions for the 2.1 branch, and it shows in the generous changelog that accompanies this release.
Highlights of the latest ffDiaporama 2.1:
• Uses can now geotag projects globally or by chapter; • Google Maps can be added in the titles and in the slides; • The options for pause and volume are available from the first slide; • A "variable bitrate" mode for encoding, which reduces quite dramatically the size of videos produced for projects containing mostly pictures, has been added; • More than a hundred new models of equipment (phones and tablets) have received support.
