An Ubuntu-based operating system aimed at Windows users that are switching over to Linux, Zorin OS Educational, has now reached version 7.
The Zorin OS 7 Educational series is based on a new desktop environment called “Zorin Desktop” and comes with Zorin Look Changer, an application that allows users to change between Windows 7, XP, and GNOME 2 graphical interfaces.
Highlights of Zorin OS 7 Educational:
• Linux kernel has been updated to version 3.8; • The distribution is based on Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring Ringtail); • The Zorin Web Browser Manager has been included; • The Zorin Desktop environment is included by default; • The desktop environment has received a consistent design overhaul.
