Just like the base distribution, Xubuntu 12.04.3 LTS comes with the Linux kernel from the Ubuntu 13.04 OS. Highlights of Xubuntu 12.04.3 LTS:
• The i386 images use a non-PAE kernel. The non-PAE kernel will not be available in future Xubuntu releases; • Fixes for Greybird, Ubiquity, Plymouth, LightDM, and Terminal theming have been implemented; • Syncs, updates, and patches from Debian and upstream have been implemented; • xfdesktop4 has been updated in order to support single-click opening; • xfce4-settings has been updated in order to include the new mouse and touchpad dialog.
