Webmin, a web-based interface for system administration for Unix, has just reached version 1.630.

With Webmin 1.6.30 and with the help of any modern browser, users can setup user accounts, Apache servers, DNS, file sharing, and much more.

Users don't need to manually edit Unix configuration files like /etc/passwd and allows for remote control of the system.

Highlights of Webmin 1.6.30:

• Support for the real SPF record type has been added in the BIND module; • New Partitions have been created on the Local Disks module for FreeBSD; • The support for the interface configuration and startup commands, as used on FreeBSD 9 in the DHCP Server module, has been improved; • Support has been added in the Logical Volume Management module for moving an LV to a different device.

A complete list of changes and improvements can be found in the official announcement.
