VueScan 9.4.05, an easy-to-use replacement for the software that usually comes with scanners and which supports most flatbed scanners, printer/scanners, and film scanners, has been released and is now available for download.

The VueScan project is under constant development, and fixes, changes, and new features are implemented on a regular basis.

Highlights of VueScan 9.4.05:

• A problem that occurred when creating raw scan files has been fixed; • A problem with changing rotation and mirror for different frames has been fixed; • A problem with Epson WorkForce 845 document feeder centering has been corrected; • An issue that occurred with the auto calibration at the start of scan has been fixed;

VueScan provides support for over 1,000 scanners on the Linux system. Not all of them work with all SCSI/USB/Firewire interfaces, but most combinations are known to function.

A complete backlog of modifications implemented in all the past versions can be found in the official announcement. Download VueScan 9.4.05 right now from Softpedia.
