VueScan 9.3.04, an easy-to-use replacement for the software that usually comes with scanners and that supports most flatbed scanners, printer/scanners, and film scanners, has been released and is available for download.

VueScan 9.3.04 has been released very soon after the previous version, and the developer seem to be on a roll.

According to the developer, the application is now much easier to use, is has better automatic detection of B/W and color, exports to PDF as default, the film scans are now saved as JPG, and much more.

VueScan provides support for over 1,000 scanners on the Linux system. Not all of them work with all SCSI/USB/Firewire interfaces, but most combinations are known to work.

A complete backlog of modifications, implemented in all the past versions, can be found in the official announcement. Download VueScan 9.3.04 right now from Softpedia.
