VueScan 9.3.02, an easy-to-use replacement for the software that usually comes with scanners and that supports most flatbed scanners, printer/scanners, and film scanners, has been released and is available for download.

VueScan 9.3.02 has been released very soon after the previous version, mostly due to some bugs that have been discovered since. Highlights of VueScan 9.3.02:

• Users can now set the 'Input | Mode' to the 'Doc Feeder', if it's available; • Several small problems that occurred when switching between the flatbed and the feeder have been corrected; • A problem with HP Officejet 7610 has been fixed; • A problem with Canon MF4100 without document feeder has been fixed.

VueScan provides support for over 1,000 scanners on the Linux system. Not all of them work with all SCSI/USB/Firewire interfaces, but most combinations are known to work.

A complete backlog of modifications, implemented in all the past versions, can be found in the official announcement. Download VueScan 9.3.02 right now from Softpedia.
