Qtractor, an audio/MIDI multi-track sequencer application written in C++ with the Qt4 framework, is now at version 0.5.11 (The Lima Oscar).

The target platform for this software is Linux, where the Jack Audio Connection Kit (JACK) for audio and the Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) for MIDI are the main infrastructures to evolve as a fairly-featured Linux desktop audio workstation GUI.

Qtractor 0.5.11 has been dubbed “The Lima Oscar” and, as usual, it features a huge number of changes and new features have been implemented.

According to the changelog, users can now insert a new track now after the current one, a primeval processing bug has been sorted out, the build system is now allowed to include an user specified CFLAGS, LV2 UI resize feature support has been added, and much more.
