Valve has released another beta build of its Steam client, bringing a number of fixes for the Linux platform.

Valve usually releases a few Beta updates before upgrading the stable branch of Steam, and now it's time for another Beta build to be available for testing.

According to the developers, the zero-byte updates for games with shared content have been fixed, the cloud sync error that occurred when re-launching a game has been fixed, the text selection has been fixed on labels created by the dropdown control, and the “All Games” dropdown menu is now showing custom categories correctly when it's selected.

Check out the official announcement for more details about this release. You can also download the Steam installer from Softpedia if you don't have the client.

Keep in mind that this is a development release and some bugs might still be present.
