DBeaver, a free and open source (GPL) universal database tool for developers and database administrators, is now at version 2.2.2.
This latest release of DBeaver features quite a few modifications and new features.
Highlights of DBeaver 2.2.2:
• The connection properties UI has been completely rewritten and improved; • DB2 for the z/OS driver has been added; • The binary (LOB) editor has been improved; • The Hex and Base64 formats have been added; • Autocommit and transaction isolation have been added in every connection; • The cross-database data export has been fixed; • The results viewer has been fixed; • Checking multiple running DBeaver instances is now possible; • The context menu has been fixed in the Eclipse plugin mode.
