DBeaver, a free and open source (GPL) universal database tool for developers and database administrators, is now at version 2.2.1.
This latest release of DBeaver doesn't have a lot of changes, but users should upgrade nonetheless, especially because Oracle and MySQL are now included by default.
Highlights of DBeaver 2.2.1:
• Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra and WMI drivers are now included in standard DBeaver distribution. Users don't need to download the drivers separately; • The Oracle OCI driver is now obsolete and has been replaced by Thin driver; • The data export from the query/SQL script has been fixed; • SSH keep-alive support has been added; • Several minor UI fixes have been implemented.
A complete list of changes and improvements can be found in the official announcement.
