The Pinguy development team has just announced that Pinguy OS 13.10 Beta 2 is now available for download.

Pinguy OS 13.10 Beta 2 is based on Ubuntu 13.10, which is quite different from the base distro, which only features GNOME 3.8.

This second Beta version of the Pinguy OS 13.10 arrived fairly quickly after the previous one, featuring just a small number of changes.

According to the developer, Nautilus has been replaced with Nemo and set up with imdb-thumbnailer and Cover Thumbnailer, the Gno-menu has been added, the Variety wallpaper changer has been added, and a number of other small fixes have been implemented.

A complete list of changes and improvements can be found in the official announcement. Download Pinguy OS 13.10 Beta 2 right now from Softpedia.

Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
