Ubuntu Touch has a lot of cool and new feautures, including the easily recognizable Unity launcher, but a developer has already brought a similar solution to the Android platform.
This Unity “replacement” is called the Glovebox – Launcher and it's been available for quite some time on the Google Play website. Its free version has a lot of the features from the full variant and it's worth a try before purchasing it.
The application works just like the Unity launcher, although it's a lot more customizable than its Ubuntu counterpart. You can set what applications to launch, in which order, and a lot of other options including Haptic feedback.
The developers have also pushed a lot of updates in the last six months and the application has become much better.
Check the official website for more details about device compatibility and pricing.
