Ubuntu Community Manager Jobo Bacon has posted a video of Karma Machine, the app that won the 2013 Ubuntu App Showdown.

Karma Machine looks exactly the way Canonical wants it to: simple, clean, and efficient. The developer of Karma Machine worked on this app by using the Ubuntu SDK, a very powerful set of tools that can be used to develop apps for Ubuntu Touch.

“In the video you can see the app first at the size of a phone as I demonstrate it’s features, and then I re-size it to the size of a desktop app. Karma Machine effortlessly re-sizes and adjusts to make the best use of the space available while exposing the same core functionality…all from the same code-base,” stated Jono Bacon in a blog post.

Canonical's representative also reiterated that full convergence with the desktop platform was not yet available and wouldn't be for some time.
