Tracker, a semantic data storage for desktop and mobile devices, which uses W3C standards for RDF ontologies and Nepomuk with SPARQL to query and update the data, has just reached version 0.17.0.
A new development Tracker branch has been launched, and as usual, there are quite a few changes and improvements.
Highlights of Tracker 0.17.0:
• A possible double removal of GIOChannel watch sources has been fixed; • g_message() is no longer allowed on normal bootup; • The openfiles max limits is now used in the queue case; • Porting to the newer Upower has been implemented.
A comprehensive list of changes and fixes can be found in the official announcement. Download Tracker 0.17.0 right now from Softpedia.
Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
