The founders of Telltale Games have confirmed that they will launch their games on the Linux platform sometime in the near future.

During a Q&A session on Reddit, Dan Connors and Kevin Bruner, the founders of the Telltale Games studio, have confirmed that Linux is targeted as a future platform.

“SteamOS and Steam Machines look really cool! We pride ourselves on how many platforms we support and are adding new ones all the time (Ouya most recently).”

“We'll of course support the next gen consoles from Sony and MS, and I'm sure we'll add more Android support in the future. Steam and Linux are on the radar, but perhaps a little further out,” said the two developers.

They didn't specify any dates for the release of any games on Linux, but it's likely that at least "The Walking Dead" and "The Wolf Among Us" might arrive on the open source platform in 2014.
