The Unsafe Web Browser has been introduced in this version

Tails, a live system that aims at preserving your privacy and anonymity and that helps you to use the Internet anonymously, is now at version 0.12.

Tails or The Amnesic Incognito Live System has a lot of changes and users are urged to upgrade to the latest version, especially because of the new Linux kernel.

Highlights of Tails 0.12:

· The Unsafe Web Browser, which has direct access to the Internet and can be used to login to captive portals usually found at libraries, has been added; · Windows camouflage can now be enabled via a check box in Tails Greeter; · Iceweasel was updated to 10.0.5esr-1 (Extended Support Release); · A bookmark for the offline Tails documentation has been added; · Linux kernel has been updated to 3.2.20-1; · TOR has been updated to 0.2.2.37-1; · Cryptkeeper is no longer installed.
