SparkyLinux 3.0 Distribution Is Based on Linux Kernel 3.9.8

SparkyLinux, a lightweight, fast and simple Linux distribution designed for both old and new computers featuring customized Enlightenment and LXDE desktops, is now at version 3.0.

SparkyLinux 3.0 “Annagerman” system is built on Debian GNU/Linux “Jessie,” just like the previous versions.

Highlights of SparkyLinux 3.0:

• The Linux kernel has been updated to version 3.9.8-1; • All packages have been synchronized with Debian testing repos as of July 21, 2013; • Various minor bug fixes have been implemented; • Small improvements have been implemented for all the supported desktops; • A new Sparky3-theme compatible with GNOME 3.8 has been implemented; • An extra functionality of the CLI edition (former name: Core) has been implemented
