Smb4K, an SMB/CIFS (Windows) share browser for KDE that uses the Samba software suite to access the SMB and CIFS shares of the local network neighborhood, is now at version 1.1.0.

Smb4K 1.1.0 features scanning for (active) workgroups, hosts, and shares, support of the CIFS (Linux) and SMBFS (FreeBSD) file systems, mounting and unmounting of shares (using the KAuth framework), auto-detection of external mounts and unmounts, and much more.

According to the changelog, Smb4K has been made a kdeinit executable, a new dynamic main toolbar has been added, a Wake-On-LAN (WOL) feature has been added, and mounting under FreeBSD has been improved.

Also, Smb4KHost, Smb4KShare, Smb4KCustomOptions, Smb4KBookmark, Smb4KProcess, Smb4KScanner, Smb4KMounter, Smb4KWalletManager, Smb4KCustomOptionsManager, and Smb4KSolidInterface classes have been revised.
