Samba, a component that seamlessly integrates Linux/Unix Servers and Desktops into Active Directory environments using the winbind daemon, is now at version 3.6.2.
Samba 3.6.2 comes with a lot of fixes, but two of them were deemed important by the developers. The first fix makes Winbind receive user/group information, and the second is actually a collection of fixes for SM2.

· SEGFAULT from net registry export on not zero terminated REG_SZ values was fixed; · A double free error in talloc was repaired; · A NT ACL issue was resolved; · Deleting a symlink if the symlink target is outside of * the share was fixed; · A major leak with SMB2 in connections.tdb was repaired; · A crash bug in the spoolss code was fixed; · A Perl path was fixed.
