The latest version of Salix OS Xfce can be downloaded from Softpedia

Salix, a GNU/Linux distribution based on Slackware that is simple, fast, easy to use, and based on XFCE desktop environment, is now at version 14.0.

The developer of Salix OS 14.0, the Salix OS Team, has provided two separate images for the 32-bit and 64-bit architecture.

Highlights of Salix OS Xfce 14.0:

• Linux kernel has been updated to version 3.2.29; • Midori 0.4.7 is now the default Internet browser; • Xfce has been updated from 4.6 to 4.10; • file-roller has been replaced by mate-file-archiver (engrampa); • Evince has been replaced by mate-document-viewer; • Brasero has been replaced by Xfburn; • GTK+3 and a few applications are now available as software downloads from the packages repository.
