Realms of Arkania 3 – Shadows over Riva Classic, a game developed by attic Entertainment Software GmbH and published by United Independent Entertainment on Steam, will get a Linux version soon.

Realms of Arkania 3 – Shadows over Riva Classic is actually a very old game that was initially released back in 1997, and as the name suggests, this is the third release in the Realms of Arkania series.

“Something sinister lurks in the seaside town of Riva. An evil force has subverted the city's leaders, and evil things lurk in the town's sewers. Explore the huge city, dungeons and even underwater regions in stunningly detailed 3D. Adjustable difficulty levels make the game as simple or as detailed as you like,” reads the official synopsis.

The hardware requirements are also quite low and older gamers will find that it still looks great on newer systems: a 1 GHz processor, 256 MB RAM, a 3D graphics card, and 634 MB of available HDD space.

The information about the Linux version is taken from the Steam database and by no means is it completely certain. The Steam Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service.

Usually, the new entries are first visible in the Steam Database before their official launch.
