Percona Server, an enhanced drop-in replacement for MySQL that will allow queries to run faster and more consistently and to consolidate servers on powerful hardware, is now at version 5.5.31-30.3.
Highlights of Percona Server 5.5.31-30.3:
• Atomic write support is now available in the Percona Server; • innodb_read_views_memory and innodb_descriptors_memory status variables have been added; • A bug that introduced a regression, which could cause a memory leak if query cache was used together with InnoDB, has been fixed; • A vulnerability that would allow a remote attacker to detect what user accounts exist on the server has been fixed; • Rebuilding the Debian source package no longer fails.
A complete list of changes and updates can be found in the official announcement.
