OpenMandriva, a fully-featured Linux desktop and server sponsored by the OpenMandriva Association, is now at version 2013.0 Beta.

The declared goal of OpenMandriva is to facilitate the creation, improvement, promotion, and distribution of free software and open source in general.

Highlights of OpenMandriva 2013.0 Beta:

• KDE SC has been updated to version 4.11 and it comes with four launchers: Lancelot, KDE KickOff/KMenu, ROSA's SimpleWelcome, and the Homerun Launcher; • Linux kernel has been updated to version 3.11.5; • LibreOffice has been updated to version 4.1.1.2; • Mozilla Firefox has been updated to version 24.0; • Mozilla Thunderbird has been updated to version 17.0.9.
