OpenLDAP Software, an open source implementation of the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol that includes slapd, libraries using the LDAP protocol, utilities, and tools, is now at version 2.4.37.

The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol is used to access directory services, specifically the X.500-based directory service. It runs over TCP/IP or any connection that features oriented transfer services.

Highlights of OpenLDAP 2.4.37:

• The liblmdb nordahead environment flag has been added; • The client tools CLDAP with IPv6 have been fixed; • A liblmdb segfault with mdb_cursor_del has been corrected; • A slapo-dds assert on startup has been fixed; • A slapo-constraint to no-op on nonexistent entries has been fixed; • slapd-mdb now optimizes the index updates.

A complete list of updates and fixes can be found in the official changelog. Download OpenLDAP 2.4.37 right now from Softpedia.
