Clonezilla Live 2.1.2-53, a Linux distribution based on DRBL, Partclone, and udpcast that allows users to do bare metal backup and recovery, is now available for testing.

Clonezilla Live 2.1.2-53 is a new development version for this distribution, but there aren't any major changes.

The distribution is now based on one of the latest stable kernels, 3.10.11-1 and on the Debian Sid repository, up until September 24, 2013.

According to the developers, the uEFI secure boot is now supported in AMD64 Ubuntu-based Clonezilla live, 20130924-saucy and 20130924-raring. Check out the official announcement for more details about this release and about all the previous ones.

Download Clonezilla Live 2.1.2-53 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
