NetworkManager, a program that works as network connection manager for most RPM and Debian-based distributions, is now at version 0.9.8.2.

NetworkManager 0.9.8.2 is a stable release and incorporates a significant number of fixes and changes.

Highlights of NetworkManager 0.9.8.2:

• Various memory leak fixes have been implemented; • The ifcfg-rh plugin now saves the bridging STP setting correctly; • Static routes are now requested from DHCP servers; • A crash, that occurred when the dbus-daemon restarted, has been fixed; • The machine ID is now searched properly; • DHCP leasefiles are now copied from the previous location, if it’s deemed necessary; • NetworkManager now waits up to 120 seconds for modems to connect; • Various systemd issues have been corrected.
