SymmetricDS, an open source software for multi-master database replication, filtered synchronization, or transformation across the network in a heterogeneous environment, is now at version 3.4.6.
SymmetricDS 3.4.6 supports multiple subscribers with one direction or bi-directional asynchronous data replication and uses database technologies to replicate tables between relational databases.
Highlights of SymmetricDS 3.4.6:
• Mariadb driver is now chosen even though the MySQL driver is specified; • The Oracle NUMBER datatype is no longer incorrectly mapped to an Integer data type; • Node communication records are no longer stranded; • A parameter that turns off writing to sym_incoming_batch altogether has been added; • When an incoming_batch is finished, the status is now updated only once; • The JMX method to extract batches to a file has been added.
