Monitorix, a free, open source, lightweight system monitoring tool designed to monitor as many services and system resources as possible, is now at version 3.4.0.

Monitorix has been created to be used under production UNIX/Linux servers, but thanks to its simplicity and small size, it can be used on embedded devices as well.

According to the changelog, a complete statistical Memcached graph has been added, support for different BIND stats versions (2 and 3 right now) has been implemented, and two new alerts have been added in the “disk” graph in order to know if a disk drive has exceeded or reached a threshold for reallocated and pending sectors.

Also, a new option called “max_historic_years” (with a default value of 1) is now available, the new configuration option “https_url” has been added, and a number of other fixes have been implemented.

Check out the official changelog for a complete list of updates and new features implemented so far. Download Monitorix 3.4.0 right now from Softpedia.
